I really don't understand why he gets so much negative attention. As much as people talk **** about him fighting DLH again, they are the ones that are going to buy the PPV if it goes down.

Also, I agree, if Floyd and Cotto meet, Floyd will win.

 

The amount of hatred for any fighter in this forum is pointless and stupid to me.

So Sugar Ray Robinson beat Jake LaMotta senseless on 5 out of 6 ocassions in a 6 match series.

But Floyd shouldn't fight De La Hoya because he had a split decision victory over him already?

 

The majority of the Robinson-LaMotta fights were close, and Robinson was fighting once a month. If Floyd were fighting more often, he'd get less crticism.

But in Floyd's defense, I have little doubt that Robinson, who was notorious for being very difficult at the negotating table and freely admitted boxing was all business for him, would take a rematch with De La Hoya if he were in Floyd's position.
