Anti-mayweather hate, anti-hatton, anti-calzaghe, anti-khan, people either are really passionate about boxing, or they just love to come here to let out all their fustrations.

 

You guys should realize that more is always demanded of the #1 p4p boxer, RJJ got hell for his bum of the month club and deserved it at the time. DLH, even though he wasnt #1 p4p, was the #1 draw - got hell for running from Tito the last three rounds and deserved it.

The only one that didnt get it was Shane, probably because he fought EVERYONE that was a real threat - made no lame excuses. Thats how evey top boxer should act.

 

He's got haters, trust me. Just not nearly as many as the rest.

People accuse him of the steroid thing all the time.

All fighters are hated on, including great guys like Mosley and Cotto.

Shane gets pass for the most part. This guy has been slipping for years. He hasnt had a significant win since the second DLH fight(that fight was very close and Shane was hopped up on performance enhancers). He has also lost against most of the top level fighters that he's gone against. The guy has lied about his steroid use, has blamed everyone for it and refuses to take responsibility and also blamed his father and fired him once he took a few "L"'s. I don't hate Mosley, but given all these things, I find it interesting that he receives relatively little criticism and people still, for some reason, think he's an elite fighter.

I couldn't agree more. Mosley skates around here virtually scott free and has done some shaky things in his past.

 

Shane was the first to clearly beat a prime DLH, he beat Vargas who was much bigger than him and didnt resort to pot shotting and running. He shutout Collazo, a younger, supposed faster guy who many favored to beat Shane. Plus, Collazo gave Hatton fits and thats clearly why Fraud ducked SHane in favor of Hatton. . . would have loved to see how Shane-Hatton would have panned out instead - but the blame clearly goes to Fraud.

Sure the Steroid thing bothers me, I think you could toss out the second DLH win due to it - thats about as far as I would go.

Shane lost a pretty close decision to the young lion, Cotto. Some of you guys are so obsessed with win and losses that you lose sight of the big piucture - Shane is still a major player in the WW division.

You can look at Shanes losses to Vernon and Winky and crap on him or you can give him props for taking on the challenges that many others were ducking.

 

Agreed look at his level of comp compared to Floyd's !

Undersized bum in Hatton?????:huh Hatton was undefeated in 43 fights and was a top 10 Pound For Pounder....and as i recall Zab Judah was ranked as the #1 WW when he lost to Carlos..he was UNDISPUTED CHAMPION, Floyd still beat him DOWN:!: ...then turned around and beat the man who beat him and won the REAL WW title....Cotto fought for a Vacant title...so really Cotto is the one who hasnt beat a REAL WW as you call it....That was Shanes first fight @ 147 in 3 years when Cotto & him fought...so how was he a REAL WW at the time ...and Zab was coming off a year layoff.....your post didnt include any facts...just idiotic biased opinions:finger5
