Why does it matter if Hatton was a credibly welteweight? Weight wasn't an issue in their fight. Hell Mayeather is only considered a credibly welterweight because he wins. If he wasn't winning, people would say he should have stayed at 130 lbs!

Hatton weighed the same for their fight on fight night that he would have if he'd fought Floyd at 140 lbs.
