Very intriguing match-up involving Paul Williams and Kermit Cintron. I feel that if Paul Williams goes after Kermit and forces Kermit to box a smart tactical fight, Cintron is athletic enough to make this a tough outing for the Punisher.

If PW stands in the center of the ring and forces Kermit to let his hands go, I think Paul will eventually counter Cintron and KO him.

What kind of tactical fight do you guys expect from both fighters and who wins?

Yes i like this fight too

Cintron has big power, Williams is not that hard to hit

    Should be very very interesting.

I hope Williams does what i think he will do, outclass and outfight cintron till cintron is crawling on the floor again having nightmares of margarito.

But its a good fight for both guys i think.... and the loser still has plenty of options (although i kinda see it as a must win for williams considering his 'level', meaning fighters of his level arent supposed to be losing to the likes of cintron)

but yes, i am excited for this fight.

He didn't look finished during the Angulo fight. He fought a very smart tactical fight against a very tough an undefeated pressure fighter.

This is the reason why i wouldn't count out an athletic boxer-puncher like Cintron. One of the reasons why i think Paul will struggle and possibly lose this fight, is because he will discount Kermit Cintron as most of his fans are.

he looked good fighting angulo but he clearly didn't look comfortable in that fight. i really question his mental makeup as a fighter. depends where this fight is. @147 kc has a better chance because pw might be able to make it but he might look bad because he hasn't fought there in years. @154 pw would ud him.

Very good post...that is the biggest question surrounding Kermit Cintron. Is Kermit mentally capable of beating a very confident fighter like Paul Williams? I don't know if he is at this point, but I'm sure he believes he is capable after beating a very tough guy like Angulo. He did look uncomfortable in spots during the Angulo fight, but he stuck to his gameplan the entire fight. Most fighters who get mentally unraveled usually can't.

The Cintron fight is a long way from a done deal. They are also considering Collazzo. that's on the scene.

yup...but, if this fight is indeed made, both camps deserve a lot of credit. Very intriguing fight for both men.

I can't see Cintron shutting PW's work rate down the way Quintana did, nor can I see him taking PW's best shots the way Martinez did. Call me crazy, but I think this is a one sided ass whoopin'.

Williams can control the action here and easily outpoint Cintron.

cintron is not slick enough like quintana or martinez to trouble pw. i see pw winning 9 to 10 rounds.

Another crafty southpaw for Williams?! ****, it's like his handlers are hell bent on ruining his career.

Not as slick, but is a much harder puncher than both men. Kermit has an excellent KO ratio and can hurt Paul if he lands cleanly.

I think most have forgotten what a hard puncher Kermit Cintron is. If he lands a clean shot on Paul's chin, he could hurt the punisher.
