I admire his passion for hard labour, but he's directing his energy in the wrong places. With some fairly basic technical and tactical preparation, he could've won last night (even as ineptly as he fought, he ground out 3-4 rounds for himself). But he was busy doing bicep curls, apparently. Odd set-up they have going there.

He looks awesome in training but as usual, "everybody's got a plan until you get hit."

Another father and son team destroyed by limited training knowledge. After a certain age who listens to their father anymore?

In this context, The Archies' 1969 US and UK chart smasheroo achieves the satirical effect the OP was presumably looking for. I enjoyed the video.

I gave him a lot less than that. Maybe 2 rounds. His speed allows him to loo flashy up to a point, but as soon as it's matched he has no fundementals. He's put so little into them I don't think it'd be that easy to get them to a good enough level. The machine curls was just odd. I can't think of a much more useless exercise for a boxing.
    LMAO
I think Britain has really good promotion, which is nice in some ways but it leads to loads of paper champions and hype-jobs
I think a big thing is he's doing "training" that looks awesome, it's barely even training because it seems to be more about what looks good on instagram than what'll actually prepare him for the match.
    Thanks. Good to hear.

Would have helped Chavez Jr to listen to his pops but I think the lack of power hurts Eubanks more than anything

    Too much hitting bags

    No footwork

    No coaching or training

He has only got far thanks to his conditioning and solid chin.

He didn't throw 1 straight punch against Groves.

sadly for the "man" he considers himself to be, at this point his biggest asset is his name.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, I just disagree with it. I don't even consider Groves to be at the peak of his powers these days, and his performance on Saturday wasn't that strong (though it was certainly more organized than Eubank's). The 3-4 rounds Eubank won on many folks' scorecards could have been markedly improved upon if he'd prepared to fight Groves in a way that actually suited his strengths. With such an important, star-launching fight as the focus of training camp, you'd think somebody in his inner circle would have at least tried to impress upon him that he needed to adopt a more pragmatic, blue-collar approach to fighting Groves.

Eubank is good at hitting things that don't move.

Once they move he is clueless.
