Very competitive fight. I had it 7-5 Floyd. Mayweather's great conditioning pushed him through, and Cotto faded in the championship rounds. I do however feel that many people gave Floyd credit for hitting Cotto's gloves a good bit earlier on. Floyd wasn't landing much until later in the fight and people were giving him those close early rounds by default. Floyd did win that fight, but it was a close fight, and a great fight!

 Whatever, He rained down on him with bombs but Floyd still won close UD with his good work off the ropes in the close rounds. I had it 115-113 or 116-112, very tough fight, Floyd's hardest since JLC 1.

Being very very very very generous to Cotto he arguably won the 3rd, 5th, 6th and 8th. The 3rd and 5th are both debatable.. Some have the 3rd for Mayweather and 5th for Cotto. Some have the 3rd for Cotto and the 5th for Mayweather.

6th and 8th are the only 2 clear rds Cotto won any other rd is debatable. They both worked very hard for any round they won though. Cotto put to much into that 8th rd and blew his load. The price for winning the rd convincingly.

Cotto didn't win more than 4 rounds, and even giving him 4 rounds was generous.

I watched the fight again today, more closely, and I saw that most of Cotto's punches didn't actually land

I scored it 116-112 Floyd the second time

    I had it 116-112 Mayweather.

It could have gone 115-113 or 117-111.

Giving Cotto only two rounds is ridiculous. Giving Cotto a draw is ridiculous.

I had it a draw the first time I watched it, I'd have given the fight to Cotto 115-113 had he won the last round :bbb

I scored it 7-5 in favor of Mayweather. I had it even going into the 11th, and Mayweather easily won the 11th and 12th.

My score was favorable to Cotto because I gave him the 3rd, which easily could have gone to Mayweather.

The problem is Cotto came on strong, then faded in the 9th, came back to win the 10th, but the was wiped in the remaining rounds.

Both fighters showed world class defense. Cotto was blocking a huge number of punches that the commentators were cheering is if they landed.

I thought it was a very good fight.
