strong bet. I think the odds are pretty spot on. Kessler 8-4 is my pick. Ward is a very sound fighter.

    Not betting on this one.

I guess Kessler is a safe bet. I pick him to win but i put down a little money on Ward via decision at 7/2 odds.

its just a perception thing that I feel the public has. I'm not saying any body is better because of their ethnicity or anything like that, just that perception dicates odds as well as media / internet articles.

You just don't see white or asian guys built up as "fearsome monsters" its always "how much longer can they hold on before the hype bubble blows"
even pacquiao even now its how long can the little engine keep going

this is exactly what is happening with Kessler just look at the threads on this forum

how can Kessler be hype when he is already reality?

it is ward that is the mystery, with significant cracks in the armor that are being ignored. how will ward do at the elite level? its a mystery

miranda has those brutal knock outs but so did pavlik going into their meeting, yet pavlik had the aura of this little white lamb going into the slaughter against King Kong Godzilla in miranda....it was hilarious and absurd at the same time

didn't they see all the knock outs on kelly's record? they saw a white guy and a black guy.

not to say that many a black guy hasn't already and won't in the future pound the crap out of an over rated white guy, its the vice versa on that statement that i try to exploit because that is where they give me odds every time

i scored big on lacy / calzaghe yet another example

Always good to see someone put their cash where there mouth is. Risky bet, regardless. Ward has an excellent chance to win as a betting underdog, and would be the only sensible bet in my mind.

**** that for a bet. I would be shitting in my pants right about now if I made that.

I probably won't bet this fight because my favourite fighter is involved but if I did I'd take Ward on points for a much smaller amount. Infact I might just to lessen the blow if Mikkel loses.

Very risky bet. I dont wager on boxing, but if I did I would prefer to bet the boxer/brawler scenario as much as possible. In this figth you have 2 good boxers. You very well might win I think the fight will be very close and def go the distance.

always remember that boxing is crooked.

Ward almost go away with cheating. He lost a lot of his cheating, but still has one judge that is completely owned by him and S.O.B. Ward still owns his referee who will protect him. Ward has his commentators, etc. Ward is a cheater.

I bet a tiny amount on Ward by Decision.

+300 is good odds especially since it's in his backyard.

we should really have a forum just for the bettors or something like that. it gets a bit tedious to argue with people that simply have no money and no real opinion, they simply state A will win unless B wins to cover both sides and hence they are of course right either way.

yet they of course never part with a dime of their money and never make any bets, yet they are so adamant to let everyone know how right they are every time, yet a quick perusal of their posts and you find out they basically predict every possible result...

    for example

they might say as a Ward fan,

Kessler should get beat here, unless Ward doesn't fight the right fight, in which case Kessler might get the win and even a KO, but I can see Ward getting the KO

    its all butterball chicken**** crap

its a desire to have credit and feel like boxing wizards - that is fine I have that desire to but at least I make real plays

the problem though, is that there are many intelligent posters who don't make bets and I need them to help me make mine, I just need a moron filter and I guess that is what the ignore list is for...
