This hasn't been done to death !!

But.. I agree a 3rd would be a cool way to settle it

"Robbed" implies a scandalous decision like Whitaker-Chavez or Holyfield-Lewis I. If you believe either Pac-JMM fight was that wide, you don't know how to score a fight.

    agreed.

niether fight was wide but both were contentious.

the difference between pacman being the mythical P4P champ and marquez is a hair's breadth for my mind.

    Marquez robbed the 1st fight.

Pac claimed justice in the second fight.

are trying to appeal it in higher court?

How could anybody claim JMM was robbed in the first fight when the judge himself admitted he has commited a scoring error which resulted in the draw and let JMM kept his title. :patsch

totally agree the fights are much more important than the record.

but for me a legacy can only be tainted by a fighter continuing his career too long. i think it's common sense and reason to be able to read between the lines and a fighter's career.

I felt so bad for Marquez at the end of the second fight, that I was adamant that the decision had gone to wrong fighter. In reality, the fight was about as close as they come, but i gave preference to Marquez's right hand, most notably the one he landed on Pacquiao in the first round. That was the only clear-cut shot of the opener that I can recall, so on that basis, I scored it for Juan. There are slow-motion replays of Pacquiao grazing Marquez in that round, but nothing you would turn your attention too in real time. Either way, fine.

I think the most frustrating thing about the existence of Manny Pacquiao, is that he has inevitably overshadowed those that have come before him. If I type in Barrera on youtube, a video comes up of three Filipino's making fun of Marco. If I type in Morales in Google, their second and third fights seemed to be plugged at every turn whereas their first and best fight, as far as entertainment goes, is few and far between. Lastly, if you type in Marquez in youtube there seems to be endless videos of him being knocked down, time and time again, against, against Manny. This contributes to my belief that most fans of Manny turned off their first fight after the first round.

In any event, bring on a third fight. There's not one fight I'd rather see than that one.

PAC was robbed the first fight when that judge made a scoring error. fact! :deal

A third fight would be nice... but i'd rather see pac fight PBF, Cotto or mosely to be honest.

No he wasn't...HE HAD A GREAT COMEBACK AND GOT THE DRAW WITH PAC WHICH WAS A FAIR DECSION..HE BEAT PAC ALMOST THE WHOLE FIGHT IN THE 1ST 1 MINUS THE 1ST ROUND...THE 2ND FIGHT I HAD IT 6-6 BUT PAC HAD THE KNOCKDOWN SO HE GOT THE VICTORY..BY NO MEANS WAS IT A "DRAW"..IT COULDA GONE EITHER WAY! PAC HAS NEVER CLEARLY BEAT JMM BUT JMM HAS NEVER CLEARLY BEAT PAC....

I AGREE-A 3RD FIGHT MUST HAPPEN BUT WAY DOWN THE ROAD..NOT NOW-PAC IS GETTING MONEY FIGHTS WITH BIG NAMES NOW..JMM ISN'T A HUGE NAME!! GREAT FIGHTER BUT NOT A BIG DRAW!:hi:
