thats a myth he hit just as hard when he got older....he just caught guys much quicker back in the day
Wow Tysons power, of all things is underrated:-( The ****ing guy generated so much power, mainly through movement and a seemless transfer of body weight. Watching Tyson punch throughout the late 80s and early 90s was a real pleasure. Tysons power made even the average onlooker feel sorry for his opponent before a punch was ever thrown. And when Mike was in his prime there was never a greater sense of impending destruction when he let his hands go. It was hard not to think as a 9 year old "Wow this guy looks like hes trying to kill a man while wearing boxing gloves"
Same. Lennox is easier to beat if you go on raiding parties Plus his chin is worse than his real one on it.
The last time I fought Tyson on Mike Tyson's Punch Out I knocked him out in the 2nd round and he never laid a glove on me... my connect % was 100. The last time I fought Lewis on Fight Night Round 2 I knocked him out in the 3rd round fighting as Oscar DeLaHoya. Oscar took a few Lewis bombs quite well.
gotta say something about your career when you meet a fan and he asks which boxers punched you the hardest in your face
very true sometimes before FNF they show early tyson fights and the way he used his defensive movement to position himself to throw bombs is something you dont often see, especially in a HW boxer
Just cause Tyson hit Botha harder doesn't mean Tyson hits harder. Maybe Lewis wasn't putting full force in his punches, or maybe Tyson caught Botha on the right spot, or maybe a bunch of thing.
2 totally different punches landed in my book... Tyson hit Botha square on the chin and took him out... Lewis knocked the guy out of the ring with a temple shot
