Went on holiday last week to Sunny Beach (Bulgaria). At the airport I saw Brodie, didn't really want to pester him so I left him too it.

On the first day by the pool I saw that he was there And obviously staying at the same hotel. Well he let onto us and we (me and the wife) ended up speaking to him and his missus.

Over the week we ended up going out with them both a few times. Just thought I'd say what a genuinely top bloke he is. Took all the time in the world to chat with us, spent time playing and making an effort with our little lad. Chatted at length about the sport and his best, worst experiences etc etc

Greatest night: The Swain fight for the vacant British was his hardest fight
Worst night: The Jorrin loss was the one he found hardest to take
    Pac/Maywether: Mayweather
    Best Prospects: Gavin/Quigg

All in all a top bloke :good

    Nice to hear that Dan.

The Jorrin fight hurts me still to this day. Absolute bloody robbery. He should of been able to say ''I won a world title...I was world champion'' It's even more sadder looking back after a interview where he cried cos his mum passed away and he wanted to go to her grave a world champion. He claimed the WBF belt was in a interview after a fight but he knows that's not the case in his heart.

Fine fighter and up there as one of best to never win a major world title.

As for Jorrin he went on in next fight to rob Larios i seem to remember....

I'm not surprised he was pissed off at the Jorrin fight.

Was Jorrin some sort of protected fighter? Or was two robberies on the trot just a coincidence?

I remember Jose Sillyman deciding he was a judge after the first Chi fight. One of the more surreal moments in boxing. I think Bordie had a point taken in that fight for an accidental headbut because Chi was cut, IIRC Brodie was also cut.

When he wins he should go after the Commonwealth. Unless I am mistaken he would be the first man to win -

    World
    European
    British
    Prizefighter
    Commonwealth

    :yep
