So im 22..I previously boxed for 1 year had one fight and stopped in this past September and moved to No GI BJJ as it was easier to balance with school/work. I do that only 2x week and love it and still want to continue it as its a free club offered at school. I recently got an itch to return and learn more. Not sure about competing but want to spar still. I'm not sure how I can balance BJJ 1-2x week, lift, and box. Maybe BJJ 1x week, Boxing 3-4x week, and lift 2-3x week?
If you want to box competitively, you'll probably lift less and box more. No clue what this BJJ stuff is but if it isn't boxing related and you want to compete in Boxing, I'd drop it and spend more time on boxing/conditioning.
I'm always able to workout 6 days week, im just asking how i should split it up days wise. And BJJ is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I'm not sure about boxing competitively, most likely not.
I had a similar situation with my boxing (club) and judo (college team) schedule. The best you can do is reduce or just quit lifting as you may not get useful strength (in comparison with boxing or BJJ exercises), you may also lose flexibility or disregard your coordination in your movements (specific work disadvantage) or just not improve your technique. If you want to improve your condition just train harder in your gym/dojo.
If you want to box competitively, and you are in school you will prob have to drop BJJ and be able to lift 2x a week max.
