Because you knew he beat the man at middleweight that time who was Jermain Taylor. Plus he beat a hard puncher in Edison Miranda to get a shot at Taylor.

Now you have people here spilling man juice all over GGG as if he is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I dont hate the guy, he has good power, a good chin and I love the way he stalks his opponents. But you've got posters here making GGG threads every now and then involving him in fantasy matchups with Mayweather. The guy has fought in a middleweight division that is weaker compared to the 2007 middleweight division I believe.

That would've been a good matchup. But Im just saying I miss those days. I dont know who would've won if they fought to be honest

GGG has so much power I'm not sure Pavlik could cope. He definitely had a good chin though.

We haven't seen GGG chin tested and he doesn't really have a deep resume. That being said neither does Pavlik save from the Taylor wins, Miranda is more a gatekeeper type.

I agree with you though mate Pavlik was an exciting guy with a lot of heart and came to fight 50-50 right now between the two lets see how GGG goes when he steps up in class

Yeah I miss watching him defend the titles against the likes of Rubio, Lockett and Espino.

Comon give the guy a break between 2005-2008 Pavlik was doing the same as GGG if not better

I guess in the years to come you will miss watching GGG defend his titles against the likes of Ouma, Simon, Fuchigami, Proksa, Rosado, Ishida, Macklin, Stevens, and Adama as well

As a fan of GGG, I never praised his defenses nor will you find a thread I started discussing the greatness of his opponents.

Yes it has sarcasm written all over it. :yep As a fan of GGG, I admit most of the threads started regarding him are clearly made by trolling losers.

You gotta admit though Pavlik coming up the canvass to KO Taylor was pretty impressive.

Pavlik's resume shits on GGG's right now. I think it will in a few years as well but we will see.

I don't miss Pavlik. He was around a short time and didn't really have a great win except Taylor.

GGG still has a bit to prove but I like the look of him and a puncher with his power always brings excitement.
Pavlik although he had power was a limited fighter basically a one two fighter, but he beat a couple of better fighters than GGG has so far faced.
