After his flawless victory over Marquez, Floyd has been contrite and very apologetic in his recent interviews. He has apologized to every commentator on the planet. I like the fact that he is learning to be more financially disciplined and is maturing as a man.(sold his cars, only owns two and curved backed the throwing cash around) I would hate to see him fight way past his prime like Holyfield, because of poor money managing. However, he does not owe Merchant, Lampley,Stuart,Kenney or Kellermand an apology. They all are waiting for his demise. He is correct when he says no matter what he won't get the credit. None of them mentioned he offered to fight Shane twice and he refused both times. Floyd is the best of his generation and no matter who he fights his skills will be superior. But the masses will not appreciate him until the end of his career, they did the same thing to Ali. They hated Ali, because he was brash, cocky,a black muslim and refused to be an uncle tom. Floyd stay true to yourself, your true fans admire your greatness.

Don't worry friend, as soon as the next Mayweather fight rolls around, trash-talking Floyd will be back in full force. He's been playing the dr.jekyll mr.hyde role for years, it's his trademark. he's not just gonna abandon his entire public persona.

everybody loves a warrior such as Pacman and hates a coward such as Mayweather who
is fighting smallers or inferior boxers.

So do I. He's entertaining, he sells, he's charismatic and he's magnificient in the ring and puts on technical displays that are out of this world. He's what boxing is about.

for someone thats his own boss....he sure does say alot " talk to my "insert names" about what fight is next for me." shane mosley? " good fighter, i wish him the best"
what a bunch of political correctness . what i miss is any fighter that actually calls out the names of guys he wants to fight next.....and not the crap that he says now

If he had any brain at all he would have always been the polite, humble, and respectful athlete he was trying to be last night. He would be one of the biggest athletes in American and made a TON more money. Probably one of the dumbest business moves ever.

Wrong. You are perhaps one of the dumbest businessmen of all-time. How many PPV's do you think he would of done against Oscar, or Hatton, if he played the good-guy alongside them? Boxing is about conflict, in the ring and outside, he plays his role perfectly.
