After a life sentence for a murder of a famous fighter I was pardoned after serving 23 years...Who was I ?
Walter Dipley, #12241, became a cobbler in prison. He spent some time in solitary confinement for inciting a riot and for possession of narcotics. He was paroled by Governor Guy Park in 1934 after serving 23 years, and died from kidney disease in 1956. http://thelibrary.springfield.missouri.org/lochist/periodicals/ozarkswatch/ow603d.htm
