I have been using a double layered mouthguard for quite some time now and it sucks ass. I can't breathe well with it, molding it was a pain which still didn't turn out well. I'm looking for a single layered mouthpiece, I can't afford a custom one so I'm stuck with the boil and bites.
I got a custom fit mouth guard... Best investment i made since i started boxing. $100 at the orthodontist.
Get the ones with dental insurance..If you get a chipped tooth you can get 10k haha. I've always wondered if they really guarantee that kind of money.
iv got a dentist one got it done free of my dads mate best gumshield iv ever had cant even tell its in but its a ***** to get out.

I use shockdocter and I agree. I think it insures you for a stupid amount of money as well if I remember correctly.
OPRO are the best manufactured brand. since they are only in europe i recommend using ebay if you are located in the US. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110589048168&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT this is better than shockdoctor.
Another vote for Shock Doctor right here. At the moment I'm using a Powrgard Extreme, which is great, but not quite as good as the Shock Doctor.
