Never once did i say " what the Pretty One is doing is for the good of all boxing" You put words into my mouth..

what i do know is that your ramblings or of a sincere ******* and in reality have nothing to do with what we witnessed on saturday night in relation to the op's: does manny has a chance against Floyd!!

Before saturday i was unsure in calling pac floyd but now i am leaning toward floyd.. you carry on using the phsycology behind why floyd wants testing in order to promote how pac has a chance.. Boring

No, you got it all wrong my friend... I understand the TS's dilemma... I mean Ortiz has everything over Pacquiao...age, skills, imitating a tree and MENTAL TOUGHNESS... I think Pacquiao would have been so FRUSTRATED that he would of headbutted the Pretty One at the ring introductions... :D:smoke

Maybe so, if the engine is still there for pac to do it i believe this is his biggest advantage. I just happen to think that floyd will dictate the fight, slow pac down and then disect with the potential for pac winning coming by catching floyd late in the fight.

Because - I thought if anything manny would out work floyd. I thought floyd had lost his ability to throw combo's.
I think he showed zero respect for ortiz power (who probably hits harder than manny at this weight).

I now think floyd might be able to walk manny down.

You have to throw the DLH, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito fights out the way, those fighters had no defense and movement, you gotta watch Pacquiao vs Morales, Solis, Marquez and Mosley. See how frustrated Pacquiao is, and had trouble connecting.

It's hard to make a fair assessment because Mayweather has NEVER fought a fighter the same caliber as Manny in his recent years. You can't judge what Mayweather will or won't do because both fighters are LEAGUES ahead of their competition and to make comparisons of what they did to them is unfair. With an exception to the rule I can tell you this though, Manny is not Ortiz and Mayweather will NOT KO Manny. Ortiz glass jaw just got exposed and I doubt Mayweathers brittle hands punch harder than Cotto or Margarito or Manny will try to hug Mayweather with his guard down.

The only way we can know who will win for sure is for them to FINALLY fight and all this ducking and dodging is pissing me off.

I dunno, I guess you can make an educated guess by seeing where both fighters are at physically in their recent bouts but I haven't seen enough of Mayweather in those short 4 rounds to make a solid judegment. It's 50/50 to me.

Well, maybe you should write more coherent posts... I don't know what the hell you're trying to say.

Of course I can use "psychology", because I know that Mayweather is smart in the sense if there are any perceived WEAKNESSES in his opponents he's going to use them to his advantage. Pacquiao publicly stated he thought the testing before the Morales fight weakened him. If you don't think Mayweather knew this fact when he asked Pacquiao for OSDT you naive at best, at worst I won't say.

The fact that he'd ask this of the midget (All Time Grate Floyd Jr's workds) speaks volumes to me, but I guess your in the "I hungry" camp of thinking... I get it... :hi::smoke

we all have seen how it's quite easy to turn pac...so, if pac has a chance...this is not it

the swarm and outwork thing is just not going to work...floyd will make you box, no matter if you want to or not...imo pac would really need to use smart aggression, not his wild combos

his feet are much more important in this hypothetical fight than his hands, imo

Ortiz is horrible, he squares up every time he try something, and yet he hit Floyd with some shots.

Desperate.. Or are you stupid? It is old news to me and you that floyd had his reasons for asking for the test.. The reasons you outline are very real but are so obvious and now old news. One thing for sure is that all fighters now take the test to fight floyd and Yes floyd was and is playing phsycological games with pac.. big deal.

Does Manny have a chance against Mayweather? Definitely, as mch as Mayweather has against Pacquiao. Their differing styles bring destruction to their opponents. And the only way to prove who is the better fighter is inside the ring.

Unfortunately, it seems Mayweather is off to another vacation.
