I thought Floyd would win I didn't think he would look this good winning. Marquez is an excellent fighter. Even though he moved up in weight I didn't think he would be dominated the way he was. Just admit Floyd looked better than you thought he would. Bladerunner you were even posting on here how Floyd was gonna lose even if you didn't believe it.

 

He was dead it was cleared he didnt belong at that weight he was almost as slow as margo ffs.

 

And its nothing bad against those guys IMO ... its just that stylistically they don't match up well with Floyd. Size has nothing to do with it ... its about him being more skilled than those guys ... but the thing is to see who'll give him the stiffest challenge ... I don't see Mosley and Pac doing that ... Cotto stands a great chance to make it a great fight.

But you already knew all of this? Why did outboxing an older, smaller, slower fighter mean it all suddenly became clear? Last night went exactly as everyone knew it would, and told us all nothing we didn't know. It has no reflection whatsoever on how Floyd would fare against a completely different, far bigger, far more powerful opponent like Shane Mosley.

 

If he was dead at that weight he wouldn't have been able to take those shots.

That fight didn't change anything. Either the lay-off actually affected him or he was flat out carrying Marquez. He chose to continuously pick at him like a scab when he could've just tore him right off. It was completely illogical of people to give Marquez any real chance in this bout.

what i always told is that i want to see him fight the top guys in his division(Mosley;cotto and MArgo in the past.
