Tyson wants Fury to beat Wilder because he was named after him and says he ws shocked at how skilled Fury was in his first bout v Wilder, is Fury underrated in some quarters? This content is protected
It was a great piece of theatre and it will be played forever, it was a great moment but my problem with that 12th round is this.. IT WAS THE 12TH ROUND. Wilder was tired, Wilder wasn't fighting with a full tank. People talk like it was the first round, nobody really takes in to account that Wilder had already done 33 minutes. His power while still very good, isn't and wouldn't have been the anywhere near what it would be like first half of a fight. We will see if Fury gets caught earlier, we will se the effects.
Those punches that dropped Fury in the 12th were awesome, he was out cold and Wilder had enough to launch an all out attack, pushing Fury to the ropes and landing a few hard shots, Fury was riding shots well and then stopped Wilder in his tracks with a good hook, from then on Wilder was put on the back foot.
Yeah solid punches and Wilder carries decent power late, but he was very tired, really really tired himself. We will see Saturday is he catches Fury early and what happens.
