Possibly. They're all on the same level as fighters, and all have the same kind of punching technique. By that I mean they all club their opponents like caveman.
i share ur opinion to a extent but i due feel that gatti ward are b- at best and marcos is shaping up to a solid b fighter with a power and a+ heart
That's great, but I believe he is more the beneficiary of A+ matchmaking and promotion. I think Maidana is good, undoubtedly, but when you look at his five best wins, you've got: 1. '09 Victor Ortiz - brutal slug fest, great fight, great win 2. '11 Erik Morales - life and death MD vs. "a really old guy" 3. '10 Victor Cayo - undefeated at the time so that's good, since stopped by Peterson 4. '10 Demarcus Corley - close UD, this would be impressive if it were 2005 5. ? And past those four, the pickings are slim to say the least... Aside from the Victor Ortiz W, these are not fights that would be in anyone's top 5 wins if they had "A power and A+ heart." Maybe in comparison to average gym-goers across the country, but when speaking of the top echelon of pro boxing, let alone the top of that echelon (titlists, perennial contenders, etc.), you've got to have better wins than that to live up to the hype.
Ward is a hard fighter to judge in fantasy matchups sometimes... he was a solid B to B+ fighter with a super duper top shelf elite left hook to the body. ANYONE he can catch with that shot, he can stop. Always made for an exciting fight.
ALL GREAT AS WELL AS VALID POINTS BUT IM NOT AGRUING THAT HE IS N E THING HE AINT THATS Y I PUT HIM IN THESE PROPOSED FANTASY MATCH UPS AGINST B CLASS AT BEST OPPENENTS IN GATTI AND WARD AND ALSO INDACTED THAT IT WOULD HAVE FOTY POTENIOAL DUE TO SIMALAR STYLES ASWELL AS CLASS LEVEL ALL I SAID IS I THINK THAT WUT HE DOSE OFFER UP DESPITE HIS LACK OF SKILL (NOT TO MENTION A TAYLOR MADE STYLE 4 N E TOP 5-7 140-147lber) IS BETTER THEN CLASS POWER AND HEART.
