Yep I kinda give him flack for his Wilder-like resume which I still think they are very similar. But the fact that Ruiz and Parker is ranked between 4-7 in most relevant rankings and struggled with well past prime fighters that Vitali dominated a decade plus ago is astonishing on his behalf.

Lewis had been stopped in amateur fight vs dude called Valeriy in 1986 th.
    Deal with it.

Lewis wasn't someone unbeatable like his fans attempt to present him.

You have proven my point! Look how anxious you are about it all. I know Vitali won in my heart so I'm not bothered. It's obvious to anyone with half a brain. Your evident anger proves that you know this to be true too. It's akin to knocking the living crap out of your opponent for 5 rounds only to twist your ankle in the 6th and be denied the win on technicality.

Of course he wasn't unbeatable. Nobody is. There is no such thing as an unbeatable fighter. There is always a fighter from one era or another that would have the style and skill to beat one particular fighter

For example most Mayweather fans think he's unbeatable because he's undefeated but i would bet the house that Thomas Hearns would be absolutely nightmarish for Floyd

Twist your ankle ? Lol terrible analogy because your opponent isn't the one that caused that injury. Vitali's multiple deep gashes ? Lewis carved that masterpiece

With illegal lacing...due to his evident desperation as he clearly underestimated Vitali and was basically getting a boxing lesson so felt the need to resort to underhand tactics....and still Vitali wanted to go on as he knew he had the beating of Lewis. Lewis further emphasised this point with his refusal to rematch Vitali. If ever there was cause for a rematch this was it! But Lewis decide to retire because his mum said so all of a sudden.

Don't get me wrong, Lewis was a very good fighter. He just wasn't that great.

So Lewis carved that art piece with illegal tactics ? LOL delusional. For illegal tactics you must mean when Lewis holds and uppercuts his opponents like he did against Grant, well that didn't happen here and no way did it cause any cuts.

Lewis cause the first cut in the very beginning of round 3 when he landed a powerful right straight that almost took Klitschkos head off. I'll rewatch the fight and see which other 100s of punches caused Klitschkos cut.

I've already seen the fight, watched it live and studied it several times since. Lewis was bested and he knows it, his actions proved it, he refused the rematch with a lame excuse and even Stevie Wonder could see he got outboxed. He got the win on paper but it was a hollow victory and always will be, everyone knows it. Why did Mr Ego refuse the rematch? lol

He was overweight, old, and took him on 2 weeks notice wheras Klitschko studied him for years before the fight. Lewis got outboxed until round 3 where he took the fight to Vitali and starting gaining a foothold in the match. Had the fight gone on Lewis would have landed overhand rights further worsening Vitali's 4 large cuts. Lewis was getting better and better and Vitali started noticeably declining in the 6th round. Frank Bruno was also outboxing Lewis comfortably for 6 rounds until he got brutalized in the 7th. The rematch was not contractually obligated. Lewis was old and retired undisputed.

    Lewis TKO 6. Cope

All sounds a bit desperate and contrived to be honest. :D I've watched the fight so many times and it's just not the vibe I'm getting, sorry.

I agree. Last night top 10 young boxers Parker & Andy Ruiz were terrible against top 20 old fighters Chisora & Arreola.

Some of the contenders today have been good enough to give the current champs trouble.

But not now. They are all badly declined.
