Wilder would lay Whyte out in one round.

He didnt lay luis ortiz out, or Szpilka out in one round, he didnt even lay molina out in one round. Whyte has a glass chin but whyte would have no problem walking wilder down like fury did. Especially because whyte is a good inside fighter and especially because whyte is much better than everyone i just listed except fury. And wilder ducked whyte didnt he ? Lol

No one but wilder cant fight on the back foot. His weakness was exposed by fury. And fury himself isnt known to walk people down. And whytes a better inside fighter than fury.

Parker has shown his class over and over - and he's still young.

If he was 34 - yes - it would be Goodbye time.

He is 28 - and still looks hungry to me. In the Whyte fight he was UNLUCKY. He was not BEATEN. Terribly UNLUCKY with the HeadButt. -Which is why Whyte wanted no part of a rematch.

    He was beaten though

    He lost

And head butts happen in boxing ,it can not be used as the the sole reason Parker lost

Whyte was going to rough him up regardless and Parker just doesn't seem to be able to handle that kind of dog fight

Kiwi, tend to agree on the age issue and bout vs. Whyte. Parker appears like a top notch person, a person you'd like to have a few beers with or have as a neighbor.

Yes, he's still young enough when there are near 40 and 40 y/o HWs in top fights. But he does seem to be missing that "fire in the belly", the "eye of the tiger". I hope he can get back on track and get some big HW fights. As others have posted, it does seem like he needs some kind of a change - different mgt, trainer, scene. Something.

There was a moment in the fight vs Joshua, Parker was starting to come on stronger in rounds 4 - 6. That was the point where he had the bite down on his gumshield and accept he needed to take some risks to push that momentum home.

Instead he came out and stayed out of harms way for 6 rounds, taking very little risks and coasting through without winning a round. That fight sums up his career to date. He needed to ditch Barry as a trainer a long time ago, but he's happy being comfortable.

Lots of ASSUMPTIONS being made here.

Listen - I'm sure Parker himself would fight AJ differently now. He must kick himself for that one. But he was young.

The Whyte fight was different. I have never seen a HeadButt that severe before - which literally flattened him.

It was literally the difference between winning and losing in most people's view.
