Floyd is on a WHOLE Nother lvl since that fight, Im afraid....Back them, Floyd used to throw so many punches, he would get hit once in a while...he took body shots allot...These days, he's perfectly discaplined, and way stronger...he can now fight an entire fight without getting hit at all...If the Floyd of today, fought Castillio of prime, he'd humiliate him...not only that, but Floyd didnt even throw any punches in that fight...he complained about a shoulder injury since the 2nd rnd, and did nothing offensively because of it...he just stood there getting popped...bad fight to use as an example

I think he just means that Ortiz actually got to Floyd in some occasions.

Something that Cotto could as well.

    3 round for Cotto Max!
How exactly do you think he is going to trouble mayweather???
Seriously! I just cannot see people think how he is going to be winning round against maywether(the most technical and skilled fighter in the sport)
The only way I see is, if he applies a **** load a pressure early on, and hope floyd gets tired and lands a big massive bomb on him.

You claim to have been watching both May and Cotto's last fights then you go on to say Miguel only looks good against flat footed fighters. I didnt know it was a secret that Mayweather has become more stationary and flat footed, hence the refernce to the Ortiz fight where Floyd was obviously doing this.

No need for name calling as you are doing pretty well showing your worth.:verysad

This fight actually shows Floyd has some balls. Cotto is coming off a career REdefining win. Granted Margs is pressure fighter, aged, and was predisposed to his eye closure, but the win was nevertheless and important hurdle for Miguel to overcome, and in the dominating fashion in which he did it is all the more impressive.

In this thread I see everyone saying Miguel's best chances are to apply pressure and wear UBF down. But I see it from a different perspective. Miguel should have a reach advantage in this fight, and IMO, has the better true jab. Miguel should work from the outside in the middle of the ring circling Floyd and peppering him with jabs up and down. Make Floyd come to him and then counter or bully him in the clinch. If there is a neutral ref in this fight(and I think Arum will find one), Cotto should win the battle inside with his UC to the body and wrestling in the clinch.
However, Miguel is prone to cuts, and Floyd has never shied away from letting those elbows go inside. I could see him elbowing Miguel continually until he's cut up and without a neutral ref, a possible T/KO(calling an elbow a punch) or a TD.

If there is a neutral ref for this one I see Miquel working the jab throughout the fight, frustrating Floyd with his speed and footwork and power inside and out. This will cause Floyd to get behind on the cards, begin headhunting then getting caught with a vintage Cotto L hook R cross combo and being sent reeling across the ring and losing via DQD or RTD then protesting the loss.:scaredas:

You guys will be shocked at how much bigger and stronger Floyd will be than Cotto. The strength of Ortiz was completely neutralized by Mayweather.

All the talk of money fighting the pacman 4 the pound for pound belt is nonsense as the pacman isnt even the best pound for pound fighter in his own stable. That is quite clearly amir khan. I believe that after his robbery in washington, money will think he has a soft touch for bug dollars but will find himself out speeded, out thought and out boxed by the younger hungrier fighter.. I think khan could inflict the first stoppage and loss of mayweathers' career

I think it will be a good fight....since PBF is not as active in the rings in terms of super busy like PAC, Cotto will not drain his energy through the later rounds.

PBF will get hit and Cotto is a more experienced and mature fighter than Ortiz. Cotto has good speed and a tough chin.
