I lean to Larry. Larry had a better jab than Ali and a snapping right. I pick Larry by late TKO.

Holmes could not stop a past prime Norton. And ken gave him the hell he is not stopping frazier who was better than norton in basically everything

Holmes makes it to the end, be it 15 or 12,but smoke at his very best beats Larry. Early rounds belong to Holmes and his jab has Frazier s eye swelling early. But Frazier keeps on plugging away, catching Larry more and more frequent. Both guys had the heart to fight through the fire, but it's Joe's intense work that sees him taking a close decision.

Although I think Holmes is clearly a better fighter overall and would place much higher in an ATG tournament, if I had to pick one fighter to beat Larry, with my savings riding on the outcome, it might be Joe.

Overwhelmingly in Joes favour here. Never seen it so one sided between two greats !

FOTC Joe could well win, not many are beating him that night, but that night aside larry beats joe on all his other good nights. Not a cakewalk by no means and both eat plenty of leather but i think larrys jab wins this over the distance. I would not entirely write off several of larrys wicked right hands doing the damage to joe either and larry wasnt a bad finisher when he had them hurt. Both great fighters but larry finds a way.

Frazier's style of bobbing and weaving would work to Holmes advantage. Larry would jab and land the right as Frazier moved his head back and forth. I really see Larry's style of jab and right hand in that simple form and speed trouble Frazier.

I don't see Holmes KO'ing Joe .. Joe gets thru with his relentless pressure works the body and stops Holmes late ... KO Joe 14

Holmes is IMO a much greater tactician than Ali. Frazier, as great as he was, was too much of a one trick pony to beat Larry. I think Holmes would find a way to neutralize the left hook to a certain degree and take a close fought decision.

If Ali had trouble landing clean on Joe I think Larry definitely does

Like someone already said. Larry liked to place his punches vs Alis free flowing combinations. With fraziers bob and weave i think holmes would have serious trouble landing on him because frazier was always in motion, up and down, coming up with hooks to body and head.

I think larry would get overwhelmed and bothered by the lack of time and space to think and place his punches.
Holmes also didnt have the 1 punch power or agressive temperament to back frazier up and get him out of there if a particular strategy didnt work.

    I favor frazier by decision
