You act as though Bernard being a spoiler automaticaly justifies Joe fighting without the brilliance that we are accustomed to.

This is a matter of degree, I can't make it any simpler. Yes, I knew Joe wouldn't look AS good as he normally does, but I though he would still look better than he did.

You must make a thread about this, in letter form to Amsterdam, from a dissapointed fan.

Were you actually hoping or expecting for Calzaghe to just barrel over the wiley ol' veteran:think

I scored the fight 8-4 for Calzaghe and although it was a typical boring and dirty Hopkins fight, it was a relatively impressive performance by JC.

Taylor wasnt on floor and didnt eat as many punches and didnt need sloppy slaps to bump up the compubox and was fighting a younger BHOP

Doesnt look good for Joe :nono

i beg to disagree. i scored 115-113 for calzaghe. i thought he did enough to win. he was able to frustrate nard given his fast hands and despite the clinching and grabbing he was more aggressive and landed accurate punches.

i agree with acb's assesment of the fight. I picked Bhop to win but scored it 115-112 for calzaghe. But honestly, i thought calzaghe fell a little bit short of a convincing hands down win, imo.

115-113 Cal was my card too. Hadn't seen anyone else with it yet, either!

    Well-scored. :D
