I just cant see him realistically winning this fight. Floyd doesnt even fight opponents like the typical orthodox fighter does. He moves into the left, setting up unpredictability with the right, as well as allowing him to get his jab off. People will look at the Judah fight as a Pac blue print (and I do think the first 4 rounds are what we will be seeing as a close comparison) but Judah is still a boxer first, then a puncher. Pac flies in like a wild man, and notoriously misses punches to try and set up his go to. I really hope Pacquiao can win, as I just like the guy better, but in a cruel sport like boxing, which many consider (myself included) to be like human chess, Pacquiao is just outmatched in almost if not every category. I recently re-watched floyd vs hatton, and clottey/morales vs pac. People always talk about pac never backing up, but he does, and if floyd can apply smart pressure; and if pacquiao's gameplan is to buzz forward, I could even see this being a late stoppage for floyd. I really hope I'm wrong.
you worded this like this is how floyd fights a southpaw...or are you saying this is how you think floyd will fight pacman? also, hatton is orthodox, maybe you are watching the wrong fight. or were you after hatton's footspeed closed that gap pretty quick? yes you can back pac up. but between backing up and having to chase his opponents around and having to cutoff the ring, i think, pacman performed better when his opponents were aggressive.
