You are really exaggerating. Manny Pacquiao didnt transform,

Good Speed and Power, great straight left. Freddie Roach refined his technique and gave him a few more punches in his repetorie so he wouldnt just rely on that rocket left but his defense is still leaky, he is still a sucker for the right hand, and his jab isnt much to speak of.

If improved so much why did he barely sqeak by Marquez who was 3 years older in the rematch and a tad slower, where were his new found skills then?????Manny will be troubled by a counterpuncher all days of the week if its 2001 or 2010.

dude there's no set age for being 'prime' lennox lewis turned pro at 28 and hit his prime in his 30's, tyson entered his prime in his teen years and by the time he was 25 he was a shell of his former self, Bernard had his best wins in his late 30's.

Lennox Lewis wasnt 28, he was 24 and heavyweights develop at a slower pace than the lower weight classes you know that and he was in his prime before his 30's.....he didnt fight the big names til then that doesnt mean he was in his physical prime, he was a smarter fighter in his 30's but that comes with experience........Bernard fought in a shitty division not his fault he was in his prime when he was beating Antwun Echols and others 1996-1999....as for Tyson he didnt have the focus he had in his early career of course he is gonna decline....when he came back from jail he relyed on his power no head movement or combinations

Just because a fighter has lost or hasnt fought big names til late is his career dont mean their prime was that late.

The prime of a fighters career is when their knowledge, and mechanics of the sport catches up to their natural talents and gifts, making them a complete fighter.

    Now you define prime

 And you wonder why no-one takes you seriously...

Yes, Marquez and Morales gave Pac hell. But Jose Luis Castillo beat Floyd, and both Marquez and Morales were clearly better fighters than Castillo was. Plus Floyd was prime in 2002 at 135, whereas Pac at 130 was not as good as he has been above 130.

    You lose.

    my mistake...

anyways physical prime doesn't mean everything, boxing is more than just physical like you said yourself about tyson.

pac was a stupid fighter when he was young, he thought his left hand and power could do it all until he got exposed, boxers constantly improve, the more fights = more experience.

Just to go against the grain, I think Morales was a better fighter between 2001-2005 than he was at Super Bantamweight.
