You guys do realize a prime Morales had one of the best chins in boxing. He had a tough chin, speed, stamina, power, and boxing skill.
All this as long as he wasnt weight drained would be too much for Pac. It would be a hell of a fight prime for prime but Morales would edge it out because his boxing skills are greater. People talk about how Pac is better now but lets face it its his opposition that has been very well picked and he still commits the mistakes that Morales would make him pay for. In terms of legacy yes Pac has surpassed Morales but head to head no way.
dont use the 2nd Morales fight as saying that thats when Pac enterd his prime. Thats the fight Morales walked into the weigh in as a skeleton and even then he was winning the fight until his legs started giving out.
Morales was just what was needed to beat Pac. Its like Pacs JMM but with a better chin and more power.

You are right he beat a past it weight drained Morales 2 times. You must be either a new boxing fan or ignorant. Why do u think Roach said no to moving the 2nd or 3rd fight at a higher weight when Morales said he couldnt make it anymore?
So he could have an advantage as all Pacs fights seem to be. They are all won on the negotiating table.
Also why did that incredibly improved boxing machine called Pac get outboxed silly by an aging JMM? because he hasnt improved like everyone thinks he has.

Like i said most of his fights are won on the negotiating table.

Have you seen Morales vs McCullough? Do you know of Wayne McCullough?

Have you seen Pacquiao vs Cotto? Do you know of Miguel Cotto?

There is just so much dewy-eyed adoration for Erik Morales on these forums because he is perceived to be some sort of warrior-hero. The cold reality is that peak Pac performed better against better comp than peak Erik. No doubt about it.

Warrior hero lol...!!!??? Morales beat Pac in Pac's prime, and PAc is suspected of using PED's while EM wasn't. Pac didn't perform better than EM at their peak? EM beat PAc, moved up, lost and continued to lose when he came back down to face PAc again. EM was at the end of his rope while Pac was in his absolute prime...

Pac in your opinion performed better in his peak, but the cold reality is that since Pacs gone up, while he's faced bigger guys, he's faced lesser skilled men than Morales. Morales gave it his all win or lose, and he never quit. When you see who stopped EM, and who stopped PAc, it took a man to defeat EM.

Pac might be greater, but there is a touch of the Jofre-Harada rivalry here lol...just a touch. EM never quit in a fight unlike your hero...
