Spence like Golovkin has not really beat "anyone". The difference is that Spence is 26, we can see amazing talent in both of these guys even though they haven't fought anyone. If Spence didnt want to fight Brook why would he be climbing the IBF ladder. He would try and become the mando for Thurman or Garcia's belt.

Fighters in general just don't take 2 extremely hard fights back to back. Bump this thread 6 months from now, I'm willing to even ban bet you that this fight does not happen.

Unfortunately I believe Spence will be avoided by many.

I'm not even saying the fight will happen. I'm saying Brook is not avoiding Spence. If the fight doesn't happen it will be becausr of some other reason such as Spence not being ready yet or Brook being unable to make 147 anymore etc.

It's funny that you mentioned Golovkin because it seems like some people are trying to construct a Golovkin-like aura around Spence. They claim everyone is scared of him, only without any actual evidence to back it up.

:lol: Because of spence not being ready? Get a grip. The reason and excuse is already there, Brook "can't make 147".

You're right Spence and GGG are nothing alike. One is 26, the other is 34.

Kell is clearly a big welterweight. He doesn't need any excuses because

    1. He hasn't turned down any fights with Spence or vacated or moved weight class.

    2. There are bigger, more proven, more dangerous guys at 154 anyway.

Also if Brook were to move up that's no excuse anyway because Spence could always challenge Brook anyway and agree to fight him at any weight if he really wants it and is such a tough guy.

Do you not understand how boxing works? Do you honestly think brook wants to fight Spence unless he's forced to? Spence is a small payday, Spence is using Brook so he gets to that Brook/Bradley/Thurman/Porter level of recognition. The only way to force Brook into the ring is a mando. There's a reason why he's climbing up the rankings of the IBF.

The fight wont happen, and the biggest reason of the fight not happening is Kell doesn't want to risk losing for chump change.

I think Brook wants to keep his title and has no problem fighting Spence in order to do that.

I doubt Spence is any more keen to fight Brook. He will fight for that same reason, the title.

Some persons don't want to understand. Some persons can not understand. Again : E. Spence is very talented, fearless fighter, potential ATG (fooking Floyd Mayweather Jr. has told so in public). He is high risk case, without payday; he is already avoided and I suppose will be avoided much more...Old Roman had a proper proverb : "Sapienti sat".
