WBC has Wilder fighting Stiverne next, 39 years old, inactive, fat, over the hill, sick, has never won a legit fight, next up: Wilder vs. the winner of Breazeale/Molina! LOL! This has to be a joke, but it's not April fools day, no, it's Wilder and the WBC fools' day! This is so disappointing......................anyone have the WBC's e-mail address? Wilder said he wanted the best, well, he is fighting the worst! Wilder will not fight Joshua, nor Parker, not Ruiz, not Sirenko, he refused to fight an old Vlad, who would knock him out! Will Showtime actually show this crap?! They weren't going to show the Stiverne fight because it was an unpopular fight, Wilder signed to fight Ortiz knowing he was going to fight Stiverne all along, then Ortiz was framed for taking some blood pressure medicine, not a PED! Povetkin was also framed, but later cleared by VADA. I posted right here that Wilder would not fight Ortiz. Wilder did this to fool Showtime, Showtime made the slot, then they had to show the joke fight. After Breazeale, it will probably be a rematch with Sconiers or Nichols....................Conte proved a lot:

This is along the lines of why Wilder has taken so long to fight a highly ranked opponent.

You dont get to **** on a champion for fighting their mandatory. The champion doesn't get to chose who their mandatory is. The mandatory could be completely unworthy of the position but that's not the champion's fault, it's the organizations.

There is truth in that statement, but also his management and team not being willing to create friction in his opposition and build his talent level. Also though, he himself brags about not needing to learn to box, utilize a variety of punches like hooks, body punching, inside fighting etc. It's pretty difficult to not be critical of someone who makes those types of comments and a management team that operates like his does.

Keep in mind though that Thomas Hauser exposes their behind the scene antics to avoid Povetkin, until they were literally forced to take it. "Multiple sources say that Haymon tried to make a title unification bout between Wilder and Martin but the WBC refused to release Wilder from his obligation to fight mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin. Then, in a further effort to protect Wilder, an overture was made to Team Povetkin to see if the Russian would fight Martin instead but the Povetkin camp said no."

    You all suck.
    You don't deserve good fights.
You're hurting my favorite sport with your stupidity, ignorance, hate, and malice.
    Go **** yourselves.

If he doesn't become lineal champion, that's his loss, not yours.

I am no fan of Wilder. I'll give him props for being better than I thought he was having proven himself decent enough to beat Stiverne first time and Duhaupus and Arreola and even Molina and Washington to some extent, and there are legitimate things he can be criticized for, not least of which is his ridiculously padded resume and avoidance of bigger challenges against more difficult opponents, but fighting his mandatory is not one of them.

So, by means, I have no problem with people criticizing Wilder for his resume, for his career choices, for his avoidance of tougher challenges, or even for his attitude and his delusions, I just dont think it's legitimate to criticise him for who his mandatory might be because that's one thing, at least, that he has absolutely no control over.

No very true but if you have the organisation in your pocket you can organise real competitors to fail drug tests and then after stalling for years with various excuses wait until the organisation put a bum who did nothing to deserve another shot until you finally decide to fight your mandatory..

You wonder why most people find Wilder a sick joke..
