http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gr2Nhs-5_dw The subway Kid is back, but only with an interview. Do you reckon this guy would beat eubanks, saunders, ryder, Blackwell, O'sullivan. etc I don't really rate him. But he obviously has some talent and blistering handspeed, which would bother many a fighter.
I think he lacks any power what so ever im not saying u need ko power but u ned to hit hard enough to get respect and keep the opponant off he doesnt have that imo and any decet fighter will walk through him
Middleweigt/smw will have many good fighters from domestic level up as its kind of the average mans weight class so many good fighters there
He will be a decent fighter, signing with Golden Boy was a poor move as he cant then be marketed very well to the British public. Going with FW or Hearn would have been a better move as they can then build the hype around him in the UK. Think he will make Euro level and Golden Boy will probably get him a world title shot but I wouldn't expect him to win it.
He got a bronze not Gold, Murata got the Gold. Agree with everything else you've said. Lovely hand speed, no power, too many y injuries... Next Tony Jeffries
I hope he can get his career together and make a real impression now. I've seen him get stick on her numerous times, all of which is unnecessary. He has talent but he's gone through hell with those Achilles injuries... a lesser person would have probably jacked it in but he's stuck at it. Also, just noticed Quigley's been mentioned here. I think he's a massive talent, the best one of all coming through.
He's a decent pundit. I saw him on Ringside. He was pretty good. I know the standard of punditry in Britain is awful but Antony had something to say - which makes a change.
