I tell myself that but i always feel myself compelled to watch. That said i stopped putting bets because i do not trust judges. I did have a bet with a friend of mine who is a hardcore Marquez fan and even though i like JMM more than Pac i bet him that Pac would win by stoppage (i bought into the hype) even money on JMM just winning no matter how. Long story short i endedup paying him the money cause theres no way i could argue that Pac won that. Ultimately i just feel bad for the fighters, in case of Marquez you could just see his beart breaking. Chisora was also just tragic, he put in so much effort. On a funny side note though i thought Sturm easily did enough to win just to get a draw? who knew that was possible.
This is what happens when Robbery Helenius goes into the ring with a guy, who isn't semi-retired 35 year old "ex-champion" who weights more than 260 lbs. Horrible decision. As i said before i feel bad for Chisora.
I hear ya, robberies can make following the sport at times frustrating. Always been part of boxing though. As for quitting the sport altogether due to one robbery.. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Idh1yr1SJNA[/ame]
You know...you don't have to have a favorite boxer from your own country. You can just follow and enjoy it as the international sport that it is.
These threads are so boring. About 9 in 10 of the threadstarters don't actually stick to it. It's such a yawn-inducing attention grab.
Helenius celebrated coz he absolutely KNEW he will get the decision, no matter what happens. Its ****ing sad. i agree with you 100%. these robberies destroy boxing. Every single person in the arena knew Helenius would get the decision. Thats how transparent and open these robberies have become
