Floyd, RJJ, and arguably Ali are not top 5. Your list needs to be changed to be taken seriously.

I can't see how being a Super Featherweight and beating a Lite Middleweight isn't great.

    Its awesome.

No my list is serious. A majority of boxing fans don't know how to make a genuine list.

Often fighters of today will be under rated for the past. Which shouldn't happen all the time.

Nobody in their right mind doesnt rate him, but to put him in the top 5 all time is beyond daft.

Floyd,RJJ,Ali and SRR.You have four fighters in your top five ATG list.Seriously you are out of your mind if you put Jones and Mayweather in that kind of company.

............I'm gonna try to play diplomat here and say first of all that the fighters the thread starter has picked are all very, very good indeed. They all belong on some pound for pound list of some kind.

But to rate all of those in the top five ever at any weight screams out that this person hasn't watched a hell of a lot of boxing.

Robinson belongs; no beef with that at all. But Jones? Dear god.......

Ali? No. Best heavy ever to me, but he's a pretty far cry fom the top five ever.

Mayweather is a tremendous fighter, but the people he's fought don;t exactly match up in the pantheon of history.

I would ask: What have you seen of Pep? What do you know of Greb, what can you tell me about Armstrong? What is it about Langford that you see that would exclude him from the top five?

When you can answer these questions seriously, and can argue convincingly for your choices over the likes of these guys, I'm more than willing to listen. Until then, this kind of thing just means someone needs to do a little research and only then make an informed opinion.

I don't mean to pick man, everyone has their favorites and your picks are all good fighters, but that's a bit much to take in.

I've done posts like these before and its unfortunate that the likely answer is going to be that 'they fought 2 long ago and dont have the skills and gud training and were slow'
