I don't he's not greater than wlad for example who's a borderline top 10 atg at HW. Wlad is 9 10 or 11 at HW imo.
Preach, brother. You've got me all amped up, so amped I'm contemplating moving Phase 1 of Operation Vengeance ahead of schedule. Hell, I'm ready to rock and roll right now
I only read the 1st & last page. Do the Usyk critics not realize that Usyk's career at CW was HW for most of the past HW ATGs - Johnson, Dempsey, Louis, Marciano, Ali... H2H Usyk is an easy top 10 HW. As is Wlad, who some have outside the top 10
He is above Evan Fields, who did not even become undisputed. I think he struggles for top 10 hw due to his limited hw resume, but overall he must be a consideration as the GOAT of this century so far.
He is an ATG but his career at heavyweight is too SHORT. He needs more fights against ranked opposition.
Usyk is an interesting case at heavyweight - on resume he's probably not even top 50 as he has only had 6 fights at the weight! That said, his achievements, with Cruiser > Heavyweight generally regarded as the hardest weight jump, and to be UNDISPUTED in both?? Those and his obvious skills elevate him probably to top 20/30, and H2H is probably a very different outlook (top 10), as is Cruiser ATG, P4P and overall. It's worth noting, I still see folks putting Roy Jones Jr in as an ATG @168, even ahead of Zags and Ward, and he only had 7 fight at the weight IIRC, so Usyk is only one off that - the rematch would get him there...
All of those fighters you mentioned would get beat by Fury and probably AJ. How can you seriously count his win against Povetkin when he clearly had a corrupt ref on his side and fought dirty as hell?
It's irrelevant whether they would or wouldn't get beat by Fury or Joshua your opinion on fantasy H2H match ups is irrelevant. And I would argue that a prime Povetkin could beat Joshua and I would argue a prime Haye could beat Fury aswell but it's all irrelevant. The fact is Wladimir has many more wins against ranked opposition and has over 5 times as many world title wins at Heavyweight. Usyk hasn't got the depth at Heavyweight to be rated above a long reigning champion like Wladimir.
I'm damn well looking forward to all this. We'll have blood curdling tales to tell that will become legend for centuries to come.
