My post is'nt just meant to criticize Compubox in this fight. Im just pointing out why and how Compubox numbers can be rigged to favor a particular fighter that suits the agenda of a broadcast Co.

agreed and well said. only idiots go based off of 'compubox numbers'. i don't need anyone to tell me what i saw.
it's only a marketing tool used to influence watchers the credibility of the most marketable fighter for hbo. plenty of cases where compubox was bull**** - (hopkins vs. calzaghe, marquez vs mayweather, marquez vs pacquiao, etc)

Okay just watched the fight with no sound here is my score!

    1. 10-9 PAC
    2. 10-9 PAC
    3. 10-9 PAC
    4. 9-10 JMM
    5. 9-10 JMM
    6. 10-9 PAC
    7. 9-10 JMM
    8. 9-10 JMM
    9. 10-9 PAC
    10.9-10 JMM
    11.10-10 EVEN
    12.10-9 PAC

Winner Pacquiao! different fight with the sound off, and was looking what shot's were landing. Say what you want, I'm sure certain rounds could have gone either way but Pacquiao was controlling the fight and the ring. If JMM would have won the 12th and the 11th if you picked JMM that round JMM would have won.

Some of these scores are ******ed. I agree JMM won, but **** really 9 rounds out of 3. Fight was definitely closer then that.

I've noticed those who watch the HBO stream seem to score the fight closer in favourof manny.

Those who watched the British stream on primetime... Seem to be more fair and more realistically in favour of Marquez.

OK, forget all the other absurd mistakes you made there. Just tell me about round twelve.

How many shots do you see Manny landing, and how many for JMM? Specifically, how many?

-And don't give me any "agressiveness " BS, because JMM came forward just as much as Manny in that round.

Please, actual numbers so I can decide just how little you know about boxing.
    ----------

I had no dog in this fight, in fact I was a huge Pacman fan. I watched the round several times in slo-mo. FWIW I'm also a former NY State amateur finalist, from years ago.

I see 3 clean shots for Manny, the whole round. 4 if you want to be generous with his last flurry. Most hit nothign but air and a few were completely blocked by Juan. (You do realize that a blocked punch does not count as "landed," don't you?)

I see 15 - 16 clean shots for JMM, with 5 or 6 being extremely solid & powerful.

So, what are your numbers for this round? I'm just dying to know.

Watching for the first time, I had Pac stealing a win or a draw.

I'll try to re-watch again. It's a very difficult fight to score because a lot of rounds were even (at least how it appears on TV).

Anyway, I would have been happy with a Marquez SD win, a draw, or a classy statement from Pac (no 'clear win' bull****).

Scoring PAC-JMM trilogy at 1-1-1. Will re-watch and see if JMM takes the trilogy.

Aggressiveness is not in the scoring criteria

They pulled the same compubox **** for Alexander against Kotelnik and I saw Alexander hitting arms, air and gloves all night. Yet they came up with some crazy numbers for Alexander. Similar kind of **** to Manny/marquez fight.

And surprise surprise, Alexander was the HBO pin up boy. ****ing sucks. Sick of this ****. They are gonna pull this kinda nonsense all the time, then try to justify the corrupt scoring with the punch stats.

Boxing is in the **** big time. Save your money and dont buy the PPVs or spend your hard earned money on going to the fights. Boxing fans deserve better. Much better.

    1-even
    2-Marquez
    3-Pac
    4-Pac
    5-Marquez
    6-Even
    7-Marquez
    8-even
    9-even
    10-Marquez
    11-Marquez
    12-Pac

5-3-4 Marquez. Extremely hard fight to score. For those even rounds, any single punch could have made the difference.
