I realize it's Mormeck but...Wladimir looked VERY good. Take a look-

Far too much clinching, it was unnecessary. But yes when Wlad let his punches go they looked great.

 

I gotta admit, my respect for Wlad has risen exponentially after he easily defeated Haye.

Wlad is one of the hardest punchers in history and has incredible handspeed, especially for a man his size.

Mormeck was better than Prime Tyson wasn't he?

 

Nobody questions Wlad's talent and dedication, but he could have had Mormeck out of there in one round if he let his hands go and Mormeck was no threat at all. Wlad is just so worried about getting tagged against anybody that he clinches even when it's not necessary and is too gunshy. That said, he does look good on the rare occasion when he lets his hands go.

 

Good thing Johnson, Holmes, Ali and Lewis never clinched.

 

Good stuff from Wladimir. Mormeck had chances to land but didn't want to eat a shot in return. Wlad's grazing shots seem to shake guys up a bit.

 

He's pretty exciting when not hugging his opponent to death! And why didnt Buffer just say "Heavyweight Champion of the World"? I mean its common knowledge he is the Lineal Champion?

Joke of a fight, no credit given, Mormeck didnt even try at all. He looked at the ref after being knocked down and said no more. The man came for a paycheck that night.

Wlad should be ashamed that he even thought to take this fight, its a ****ing joke.

Why clinch if their was nothing to reset from, on more than one occasion all that was needed was a bit of footwork to spin Mormeck around to set more punches up, im not trying to hate but the fight should not have gone past the 2nd round, the difference in size and ability was that emphatic.
