Hey, you know where the smiley box is. Good for any discussion.

Ray Mercer had a prime? When was that? In the 80ies when he fought bums? Or in the 90ies when he lost to Larry Holmes, Holyfield and Lewis? The best win as far as I am concerned is against Morrison, but 1 win is not the base for a "prime".

Moreover Ray Mercer looked far from shot in the Wladimir fight. Ray Mercer has another fight scheduled in 2 months, by the way.

Of course he had a prime, When he fought Smoking bert cooper, gave damiani is first loss, koing morrisson. By the time he fought wlad he was way past it and he was 41 ffs :patsch

If you don't think mercer was shot when he fought wlad you are either blind or stupid.

What diff does it make if he has a fight in 2 months, how does that add weight to your arguement ? I mean tyson who is 6 years younger could schedule a fight with some bum for 3 months time does that mean tyson isn't shot as well :rofl :rofl

Prime Mercer is much better the corrie sanders and lamont Brewster ever were if you want to judge how bad he was circa 2002

That you mention Cooper as a proof of Mercer's prime says a lot.

Cooper is 36-22! Lost 14 times by KO.

How weak must Mercer have been if you need a chinachinned bum (whom Holmes DID NOT EVEN MANAGE TO KO) and a noname (Damiani) to prove Mercer's greatness. Mercer belongs there where Wlad put him: TKO6.

It means a lot because it hints at the fact that Mercer has a prolonged body fitness or a body prime later than usual.

You are comparing reality (Mercer IS SCHEDULING A FIGHT) with some made up fantasy (Tyson fighting).

This is not true, since Mercer never had a "prime".

Not supported by his record? The only thing on Wlad's record worth mentioning is him stopping Byrd. Mercer was ancient when Wlad fought him, I'm not even going to bother saying any more.

    Hey boxrec warrior :rofl
Have you ever seen Burt cooper fight :patsch You read far to much into records with out watching fight s don't you.

Burt cooper was just secounds away from stopping eveander holyfield for the wba and ibf heavyweight titles.

Why dosen't it surprise me you have never heard of Francesco Damiani Your ignorance is untold and you should stick to klitschko forums as you have no place on here :blurp

Damiani Beat tefilo stevenson in the world championships I take it you have heard of stevenson and claimed the silver medal losing to tyrell biggs.
    2 time european ameture champion

1984 olympic super heavyweight silver medalist also again losing the final to tyrell biggs not a bad ameture pedigree

Pros he was the first ever wbo heavyweight champion defeating biggs as a pro.

Was beating mercer until a ****ing viscous uppercut broke his nose in the 9th and his only over loss was to oliver mccall .

You aren't a boxing fan you are a boxrec warrior:deal

Yeah, keep on defending a 36-22(14!) boxer.

By such logic Puritty is even bigger than Cooper, since he stopped Klitschko.

Who says I never heard of him? I merely stated that he is a noname. And he is.

Oh, man you get more and more desperate. Now analyzing AMATEUR records. Yawn. And mentioning another chinachin and featherfist (Biggs) who has lost virtually against every better opponent he has faced 30-10(7!).

Somehow that doesn't convince me. Could you imagine a Wlad fan stating "Wlad was sooo good at amateurs. His pro career was perfect until Thompson threw a vicious uppercut". Oh, man how lame.

You know nothing. WALD fans come out with FAR more ridiculous statements than that

Take my advice, stick to boxrec because you're making yourself look more than a bit foolish on here.

Well I have no idea who would win when you step into the ring you got a 50 50 chance of geting your butt whipped and Vlad hits hard
