I really believe Ward wants Golovkin

Cotto, no. But since Canelo will beat Cotto, I have a feeling we'll see them this spring. GGG's promotion is pushing hard to get contractual agreement that he'll get winner, WBC president has recently been repeatedly saying GGG will get winner, Canelo said he'd fight GGG in a year last spring which would be after the Cotto fight ... Just seems to me that's the direction that's being taken.

I dont like Ward and prefer Golovkin style wise but however...he cant ask him to go down to 164 when he just came back from inactivity and fought at 172That will never happen.

 

How many times does it have to be engraved in to your head, that Chavez and Froch have a larger fan base, have more economical power and can dictate the terms to a fight with GGG? GGG has no say as to what weight he wants to fight Froch or Chavez at, Froch and Chavez on the other hand have the advantage, they can dictate the playing field, Ward on the other hand cannot dictate anything, his ratings are abysmal, he does not bring in any money comparable to what Froch or Chavez bring, so Golovkin can bring up a catchweight, if Froch or Chavez were not the A side, he would ask for a catchweight with them as well. Get that inside that hollow noggin for Christs sake.
There is a HIGH risk fighting two 168 pound fighters, especially if you are a decent sized 160 pound fighter with a middleweight frame, so the reward has to be great, if Golovkin fights Ward, there is a high risk, low reward type situation, on the other hand, with Froch and Chavez, there is a HIGH risk, high reward type situation. :hi:

 

Why is Golovkin so terrified to give Ward a fair fight at 168?

Stevenson called out Ward live on HBO, yet Ward ran away and refused to even answer him. Stevenson said that he would fight Ward at 175 or even at 168, buy Ward will not fight Stevenson, not even at 168. When asked about fighting Kovalev, Ward said that Kovalev was too big. Ward was a light heavyweight in the amateurs. Ward would out weigh Golovkin by, at least, 20 lbs., is much taller, plus Ward would only fight in his home town, with his personal referee, boxing commission, etc., Golovkin has some big money fights at 160, after he is finished at 160 then perhaps he can go up and fight SOB................Funny...............SOB wants to fight a small middleweight, yet will not fight Stevenson at 168 or Kovalev at 175. Ward last fought at 172, he would only have to come up 3 lbs., and usually weighs 180 for his fights.................., he wants Golovkin to come up 8 lbs., yet SOB will not come up 3 lbs. for Kovalev or fight as 168 against Stevenson...................Ward does not fool me, Ward was the "ONLY" boxer who did not have to travel in his own personal tournament that was made for him...................then Ward turned on Goosen after all Goosen did for him....................SOG? I'm sick of all this catch weight bull**** if you want a mans name on your resume as a win beat that man at his weight don't drain them down unless they have proven they can perform at that weight.

Golovkin should move up to 168lbs to fight Ward, Ward beating a drained Dawson diminished his achievement and Golovkin would be doing the same if he drains Ward to 164lbs.

 

Who is Ward to tell Golovkin what to do when he has a mandatory fight coming up, the winner of Cotto/Alvarez, big money fight. Ward offers nothing.

I still do not hear any of Ward's fans calling for him to fight Stevenson at 168.........................notice Ward's fans are quiet about that? Ward is afraid of Stevenson. Kovalev wants to fight Ward, but Ward is afraid of Kovalev, Ward would only have to come up 3 lbs........................Ward is a coward, I can't stand him..............
