In favour of a hard punching novice

There is no way Wilder will win Fury is to skilled for him and awkward

Fury has all the skills to beat this man with ease

He certainly does have all of the skill and mobility in the world, especially for a man his size. I worry more about the timing than anything else. If this was Tyson Fury after fighting a 20 top guy, then top 10, then an elimination fight for the mandatory then I would say that he would wipe the floor with Wilder. THIS however is not that version of Tyson Fury. Actually, I seriously doubt that Wilder would risk fighting that version of Tyson Fury.

Tyson Fury took the easy route and I think that it will show.

Yes I agree fury is clearly not at his best but I still feel he has enough to beat wilder with ease
the only reason the fight is happening is because of what happened to fury 3 years inactive drug/alcohol/weight gain abuse

Fury definitely has technique. However in sports anything is possible.

I remember watching former New York Giant Michael Strahan interview after beating the Patriots in his final SB win which plays to this point. Michael said no way was his team better man for man, let alone as a team. But when his team mate caught the ball with his helmet-- that crazy **** motivated the Giants to say: skip skill.
    Will the win into existence.

Will power is the intangible that allowed a swelled up Corrales to come back on Castillo. Allowed a thoroughly out boxed Demarco to stomp a hole in Linares ass.

Will is what allowed a profusely bleeding Valero with no skill, no technique to just bulldog & forced Demarco to surrender.

Will is what allowed a slop-shooting Sam Soliman to not only go the distance with the great high guard guru WInky Wright....but he swelled, puffed up and reddened his whole damn face....yet who can say Soliman has skills to beat Winky in his prime?

If Fury had a stronger will than Wilder, how the hell did he end up in rehab? Drugs Alcohol is the perfect escape for a person who can't handle the **** being thrown at them in life.

Last, Klitschko never forced a fight against Tyson, he boxed him so Fury IMO has yet to go through the meat grinder. Have his will tested.
No way should WIlder look to box Fury who is a better boxer. Take it to him, try to hurt him, hospitalize him with stupid awkward windmill haymakers.

Make him hollar "Cut me mick!"

Great post. You should post more often if this is the type of stuff youre going to post. We have people here that flood the forum everyday with garbage. We need less of that and more of this.

Unfortunately for Fury fans, the reality is that Fury can and probably will out-box Wilder for large portions of the match if it goes ahead.

Ortiz and Spilka can both lay similar claim. Ultimately, it didn't do either any good as they both lost to a savage KO.

Fury can and will make defensive errors as all the best defensive fighters have done.

Yes, that was Ali getting floored by Cooper and Frazier. I wouldn't suggest that Ali had porous defense or a bad chin, he could be damn near unhittable at times.

Against Wilder, you'd better be unhittable for 12 rounds, or you may very easily lose.

Fury's defensive 'hit-and-not-get-hit' masterclass may not amount to a hill of beans if, when he leans back, as he probably will do at some point, Wilder makes a 'hard read' and commits to a leaping, windmill bomb.

That is what makes the fight so intriguing to me and why I think Wilder will nick it, not because he is the superior boxer, but because, at the elite athletic level, the 'match-sharpness' will matter over 12 rounds and Fury will fall slightly short on the night in that respect.

Only Wilder does not hit as hard as is made out. Certainly not as hard as Klitschko, and he does not have the two-fisted power like Wladdy.

Szpilka is a cruiserweight, and a demonstrated chinny one at that. Ortiz is an old guy with high blood pressure. Do you know what hypertension does to your stamina?

The rest of Wilder's notable opponents are fat ****s, zombies, a schoolteacher, a pastry chef, and a personal friend who took and obvious dive.

Also, Szpilka and Ortiz do not have the boxing skill of Fury. He may get caught, but I doubt that he will be caught that cold.

Wilder is going to be hitting a guy who was hit by a legend and took the punch.

it is a hard fight to figure. Tyson Fury has great defense, but that straight right down the middle might be trouble. It is a stylistic problem for Tyson. Can he avoid that right.. If he can and then counter, he could score a knockout.

Even with crooked judges I find it really hard to envision Wilder winning a decision without getting knock downs.

I can see Fury using his feet to take the air out of the building and sending Wilder into search mode. I can see Fury being up on the cards, or at least some cards, when he finally takes that huge right hand.

Wilder might not hit as hard as Wlad, but he'll throw a hell of a lot more and he'll eventually land.

Wilder has the best record in the world....when it comes to fighting out of shape inactive fighters. It's hard to see past Wilder in this match up.

If fury is so super confident, who are we too question him. Confidence is everything in this sport. You have to give it to him for having Cajones in fighting a dangerous fighter in his 3rd comeback fight unlike that Coward AJ
