I know it gets under peoples skin but I do like cocky raving **** talkers sometimes, it just lightens up the sport a bit.

I wouldn't mind DeGale being a loudmouth if he actually came up with some funny or clever stuff. Just saying 'gas' and 'ugly kid' repeatedly doesn't cut it for me. He just sounds ****ing stupid.

 

It still amazes me that boxing fans can't grasp this.

Now everyone is going to buy the PPV to watch DeGale get knocked out, he's done his job.

Got to admit Degale is a arrogant wanker. I'll root for Groves but I expect Degale to win.

 

I think you're giving DeGale too much credit if you think he's engineered this annoying n stupid character just for the sake of promotion. He's got to hype a fight, but other guys manage it without making themselves seem like a 12 year old special needs case.

 

I think everyone is getting a bit carried away with one ringside episode, he's trying to promote the fight, everyone mentions how Degale is humble and a gentlemen outside the ring including Bellew who mentioned it on here, think he was just trying to wind up Groves even though he did come across worse than Groves. When Groves was saying stuff about Degale before pretty much after every fight, no one picked up on it as much but when Degale says something theres a uproar. Im not necessarily speaking about yesterday just in general since the start of their careers. Thats the way i see it and if everyone else sees it different i must be the deluded one!

 

I hope Groves batters the ****. Degale came across as a ****in muppet yet again last night. Made a fool of himself.

Degale is using the floyd mayweather mode of you can hate me as long as you watch me. He has the talent as well to do well in this sport.

I've met him once at a charity event and he was cool. This is all publicity and he is proving good at it. Good on him.

 

I like DeGale, hes that much off a tit hes funny. Groves is a good lad aswell, will be a cracking fight.

I love watching DeGale and have said on here that he will easily win a world title - he has it all. But he made himself look a complete knob head last night. He needs to keep off the personal stuff and just keep telling Groves how much better he is than him. He will batter Groves come fight night.
