to seeing kessler pushed to the limit off his game! he never really been tested or been out there were it becomes primal and instinct, cause he has always been in control and never had his back against the wall!
im not saying he will be, on nov 3rd, but there sertainly is a big chance of it happening against calzaghe.
i hope this fight will live up to our expectaitions! i know mine are big:yep

Same here - we will find out exactly what Kessler is made of and how he responds when things get rough. Same goes for Calzaghe as well. I'm really looking forward to this - to me, it is the premier fight of 2007.

Both guys have what it takes to get the best out of each other. I wanna see how Kessler responds in the hostile atmosphere he's going into. The Welsh don't strike me as intimidating people but thousands of them can create the sports equivalent of a hornet's nest.

It will be a hostile atmosphere in Cardiff but that won't be an issue for Kessler - he's unflappable.

Calzaghe has been pushed many times - down twice in his career and had wars with Eubank and Reid, we know what Joe's made of: he never takes a backwards step.

    Kessler's a big ?

Of course... Kessler intrigues me. He's coasted through the build up to this fight. He's been all smiles, charming and has self confidence oozing from him. He really believes he's going to win this fight. It'll be interesting to see what his mood will be in the few days before the bout.

Lacy came unravelled. It seems as though you're looking for something similar to happen. I doubt it'll happen with Mikkel but u never know what's in a man's head so we'll see.

No not at all - I get the impression that Mikkel is a well grounded guy who's not going to be phased or get stage fright, you can tell he knows he belongs. The week before the fight is when it all becomes real: the public workouts, the media, the weigh in. I'm no expert but I can't foresee Kessler smiling then. The magnitude of this fight is huge. If anything is going to get to Kessler it will happen in that week. Joe will drive himself to the weigh in as usual, but he's been different for this fight. I've never seen him give so much respect to any other opponent, he has really gone out of his way to say how good Kessler is. It's almost as if he's trying to convince himself that he can beat MK. But having read his book, this wouldn't be the first time that's been the case.

for some reason he looks fare more confident now than he did prior to the andrade fight, and in todays paper in dk he says that he fells that all the pressure is on calzaghe cause they are fighting in his backyard with all his fans expecting him to win easy over the "unknown dane"

Only a couple weeks now! I remember well when we were all holding our breath during the long negotiations for this fight, will they or won't they, is it Warren or Palle getting cold feet? It seems like forever ago, and now it's almost time to see who is going to be/stay KingPin 168.
