If was definitely funny watching him beat up 'slicks', when every time we had to hear about his lack of 'slickness' beforehand. But the last Canelo fight did leave a bad taste in the mouth, showing up for a point fight after being robbed twice. Probably the biggest shame was Eubank pulling out of the fight as Golovkin would have beaten the life out of him and maybe ended the hype much sooner.
It's really a shame that he cried about fighters ducking him but once he got the chance to fight them he used Canelo as an excuse to duck them. Other than that I loved his chin and power.
I hear ya man, we all would rather have seen GGG vs Martinez or Sturm rather than Canelo. Much bigger challenges and paydays.
