He's already lost 2 out of 3 times to Marquez and the last fight really scarred his confidence so why would he fight him again?
yeah all the three judges, the HBO team are all in conspiracy to rob jmm off that fight which was as close as it gets. manny steward is right though, jmm could not expect the judges to score rounds for him if he would fight passively.
HBO invests millions in certain fighters, the fighters who make them the most money, a return on their investment. The commentators lean towards a certain fighter with their words for that very reason. If you don't notice that then you're a bias moron.
yeah there's a conspiracy. the judges are paid even if they were the most respected judges. close fight, where the judges scored for the aggressor. if you don't agree, then call them moron. lesson: you don't get everything you want in life.
Do you know how Boxing works? Boxing is a business. Sad but true. The TV network invests alot of money in promoting a certain fighter, in this case Manny Pacquaio. Manny Pacquaio fights on PPV and draws in astronomical numbers, creating a return on HBO's investment, meaning he makes them a profit. The commentators are kept in a job by the money Pacquaio and other Marquee stars make, so they talk this fighter up and often show bias in their commentary, it's standard politcs. The fight was promoted by Bob Arum and Top Rank. The judges are bought in by Top Rank, it's actually the promoter of the show who puts the judges up in their accomadation and pays their expenses. (I'd bet you didn't know that) As far as the Commision goes, when a title belt is contested in a Boxing match, each fighter pays 2.5/3% of their fight purse to that governing body. It's in that bodys intrest to have the highest drawing fighter in possession of their belt, because he recives the largest purse for his fight. Do I need to make a slide show for you or something?!
ok so now you have not only proved that the judges are all paid, the HBO are on it including their commentators but you also proved that WBO is behind an elaborate plan to rob jmm. maybe next time, jmm should not leave it to the hand of the judges ad go for the kill like what he promised before the fight since this was a huge set-up? or maybe jmm, could have been a bit more aggressive and should have not listened to nacho too much that he is winning easily just like what steward said.
