It's killing you on the inside he did that. That was great when he did the chicken fight thing with Kelly.GREAT!
this time last year i was so hyped up about going to see calzaghe-kessler, the crowning of the first ever undisputed super middleweight champion between two contrasting and superb fighters. fast forward to now and i really could not give a ****. i just hope joe ends it earlyish so i don't have to watch him slap about a man with no legs lamely for 36 minutes. absolute shitfest of a fight.
careful, you'll get chucked off the train. good post by the way, i was the same with calzaghe - kessler . this ones gone stupid now. i really do fully hope joe takes the **** out of hero roy and slaps him silly .
i like roy but prefer joe. i have nothing against either guy but i have no wish to see calzaghe who still has something left in his tank potentially waste his final fight against a guy who has nothing left and is a shell of the man we saw years ago and a man he should have pushed to get a bout with in his prime. i'd rather have seen joe go out on his shield and get smashed to bits against a prime roy than watch him beat silly a knackered version.
He was getting his **** beat for 7 rounds,he was dazed,he couldn't continue, got him right on the temple. You''all must'ev forgot!!!
alot of people feel roy's still got something left. i'm not so sure myself but i truly hope he has because either way i think joe's gonna win and if he does beat a shell you just know he's gonna get no credit whatsoever . i dont think it'll be joes last fight though unless he gets beat. i just want to see him get the respect he so obviously deserves.
The leveradge he gets on his punch through the opposite foot is astonishing. But this is pretty straight forward. He hit a dazed opponent right on the temple with a shot the guy didn't see coming. It's the technique that makes it absolutley extraordinary but probably the speed that kills.
Why is that an injustice? No-one who beats a shot fighter because they are the lowest risk-biggest reward option deserves credit. Credit for his business acumen maybe, credit for being a smart shrewd operator, but no credit whatsoever as a fighter or as a man.
excuse me pacfan but i dont think you're the ultimate judge on what kind of man calzaghe is.who do you think you are " no credit as a man ". he's a hundred times the man anyone on here is, including you. you seem to be in a minority on thinking jones is gonna get his arse kicked anyway. what i'm saying is, if joe beats roy, then the reason onhere will be cos roys shot. its ****ing bull****.
I agree 100%. 1 - Roy Jones says his body's moves down to 170 will allow a move back up, correcting the imbalance he says has exsisted in his body. There may be something in this. 2 - Roy Jones seems more motivated for this fight than any post-ruiz fight. 3 - We've seen great fighters - which Jones was - turn the clock back for one last great performance. Deciding what a given result will mean before seeing the fighters duke it out is silly and far to common on the board. Jones has a chance to turn the clock back. WHy not wait and see?
