Martinez is a middleweight, the fighters you listed are super middleweights, Lucian Bute is 6,2 Carl Froch 6,1 just to name two of your list.

as martinez is 5,10 and Floyd is 5,8 the gap is less for him to go down, make more money and have physical advantage, please tell me any reason why on earth he would go up?

Also about this argument on being a nurse and being a teacher, both respected careers, congratulations (done teaching training, couldn't stand it!)

if your great enought to step into the ring and say your the best at 154 by winning a title, who gives a **** if he has fought in the division 1 time, 2 times or 10? the pound for pound king of everything? sergio went up from 154 to 160 and is the smaller man in all his fights because no one would fight him at 154. now he has someone he could fight in floyd, somehow Sergio is the Marvin Hagler lifetime middleweight beast and is picking on poor little floyd. sergio got beat by margarito who cotto just beat and who floyd will beat in a few months...but somehow floyd is too small ....sergio is is plenty old enough, just not bad enough yet

 

floyds not to small to fight martinez, i just think there such a bias in basic fight fans. floyd should fight martinez 150-154 in that range and pacman should fight martinez at 150 plain ad simple there both able to it and it presents a good fight and challenge for both fighters
