Argh! Thats another thing - Cojanu might get knocked out in the future by a nobody. Hate to think what Dillian Whyte would say to Parker if he managed to drop Cojanu. Joe shouldn't have fought Cojanu.

Hindsight is a great thing. Cojanu is now quite marketable as an opponent for fringe contenders like Whyte so we might get to see that fight, would not surprise me if Fury fought him in September either.

Parker is not smaller than Wilder. He is demonstrably bigger than him. Most heavyweights are as Wilder is a heavily muscled former cruiserweight.

I don't see Wilder taking the fight. He'll duck him. Too dangerous.

Yup. Wilder's management only take sure things. Gotta protect that fragile mandible!

Wilder will fight another wino as usual, he will fight another voluntary title fight..................the WBC is keeping Povetkin away from Wilder hoping Povetkin will get older, Wilder is a fraud..................

Put AJ, Wlad or Wilder in with Parkers last 3 opponants. I think They completely demolish those last 3 opponants that gave Parker a hard fight.

Didn't see Parker's last fith, heard he looked like ****, but for my money, right now, today, Ortiz is the best heavyweight on the planet. I don't think Joshua's people want him. He claims to be 38 and is probably older, but he has talent.

Hey, if Deontay ever hits himself with that uppercut Fury hit himself with, LIGHTS OUT!

Stand by it, a Tyson Fury-esque uppercut straight into his face. With Wilders power he would knock himself clean out.

Parker is the worst of the 4 IMO but that doesn't mean it will always be the case. Parker now needs to travel the world and we'll get a true impression of his potential through his next 2-3 fights.

Will he be elite, or will he be more on the level of say, Dillian Whyte? I'd like to see that fight.

I hate hate trashing young prospects but if were looking for fighters to be long term rivals for the likes of Joshua and Fury (hopefully) I don't think Parker is it , thought he was too hyped after the Takam win it was very close and I would give Takam a great chance in a rematch (not that it will happen) Parker just didn't prove to me he was truly above that level , the Ruiz jr fight i didn't think he won and the Cojanu fight was awful for a so called world champ.

If I were his team I'd try and get him in with Bellew now and avoid the mandatory with Fury , if he can't duck the mandatory and he can get past Fury he should go after Bellew again it's lucrative and he wins it and it sets him up for his career pay day against AJ. I think if he gets to AJ he gets annihilated but could probably still pick up some decent purses off the back of it especially in Britain and earn some decent corn for a fighter of his ability , i think he will back cleaning out trash cans in New Zealand and Australia before he's thirty with the occasional bigger overseas fight with mid world level fighters and prospects.

Would love Parker to prove me wrong and really step up to become a force in the division but I just don't rate him.

Where did you get the trash can story?
It's more likely you are trash

I meant the domestic level heavyweights in those regions were the trash cans not that Joey Parker finds employment with his local council !
