    What a career I had in the boxing game! Probably saw more bouts than anyone in history.I was so FAMOUS in my day.I sure was.Who am I ?

    Yes Joe Humphreys, who wasreputed to have announced 20,000 or more bouts in his lifetime...Had a tenors voice..

    Safe to bet that most referees of judges etc. saw enormous amounts of fights during the depression years also.. Joe Wallis in Australia has been associated with thousands o fights.

    I wouldnt put Bert Sugar anywhere near the top. He talks about more fights than hes seen. he would have you think hes seen millions of fights but when he opens his mouth and starts talking about them his stories dont often jive with the facts.


    Joe Humphries had a tenors voice? Have you ever heard Joe Humphries? He certainly was no tenor. LOL

    "Let her go!!!" was not Joe Humphries signature call but Billy Jordan's.
