I was at one time a big Tommy Morrison fan. WTF is wrong with him and this circus **** they just pulled?

 

Corey Williams is a SLOB! Morrison needs to fight a stiff who is at least in good shape..... WTF??

Two things. With a preface of I was a huge Tommy Morrison fan (i'm man enough to admit I got caught up in all the hype). But first, was this even real? I mean I know it's been said by everyone in this forum and granted it looks as though most of the people in this forum could probably knock Corey Williams out too but that last left hook didnt even look like it would put a dent in a punching bag. And secondly, if they TRULY pull off a Ray Mercer-Tommy Morrison match I just want to point out a couple of things. First, if its true boxing as old as he is if Tommy fights like that Mercer knocks him out in the first round, secondly, I know Williams said a "WBC title eliminator bout" but seeing as how Tommy has now fought two modified rules matches and that Ray Mercer did participate in an MMA bout would this actually be boxing? Lastly, I know Tommy has been parading around for a few years now saying he's HIV clean. Well I say its finally time for him to put his money where his mouth is. No fighting in West Virginia, Mexico, Wyoming, or an Indian reservation (no disrespect to any of those places, hell I'm from West Virginia), but take fight in Nevada or New York or California or New Jersey where he HAS to take a legit blood test.

 

That is about the phoniest looking boxing match I've ever seen. You are absolutely right about that exaggerated final knockdown - it was hilarious.

I thought Castillo v. Coralles was the best fight I'd ever seen. I take it back. This pugilistic masterpiece was a marvel to behold. Bravo Tommy Gunn, you're on your way back to the top!

 

Also did everyone else notice how just after that limited action (and that's probably a disrespect to the word limited) Tommy still could barely breathe in the post "fight" (once again i'm disgracing the word fight) interview?

Hey, one more piece of riveting information regarding this amazing athletic contest. BoxRec has officially taken it down from Tommy's official boxing record. It was up there for a couple of days as "uncomfirmed" but i guess the "muy thai" rules officially takes it out of his record.

 

I loved it. Best part was the plastic Wyoming State Championship belt, with stenciled black writing on it. Looked like something my kid would pick up @ the dollar store.

 

Its sad what the ABC has made people do to practice their
civil rights ! Maybe one day , we can stop worrying about
Iraq's freedom , and put value behind American freedom again !

 

the second knock down was an even bigger joke than the first....i think the opponent has some pro wrestling expierence....

 

I remember when Morrison and Tyson was on top of the world ,
Boxing was alive then ! Man how its went to sh*t since then !

 

That was pretty bad. I wasn't paying much attention to Morrison before this, now I can just completely ignore him. He has turned to ****, now maybe the pigs will eat him.
