I guess those people didn't hear Lampley say a 10 count was not in the least bit necessary.

Plus, they know not what they see with their own eyes.:nut

That's called power by Pavlik. Plain and simple. The man is a beast.

“Seeking to forget makes exile all the longer; the secret of redemption lies in remembrance.”

Everyone keeps saying that Taylor is an instinctual fighter and he is too "dumb" to adapt in the ring. **** that. For Jermain this is about Redemption a chance to make right this wrong. A chance to finish what should have been finished the first fight.

I think Taylor rembering how he was knocked out is a good thing. He will anticipate the right and counter. Pavlik's porous defense and slugger mentality will be his downfall.

    Taylor KO6

When a fighter parries a jab, a good fighter will fake the jab and throw a left hook. The hook should have clear sailing because the other fighters right hand is out of position to block the left hook. Pavlik will definately pick up on this and fake the jab and hook him.

And you know that right hand is going to be following that hook.

I think Jermain is doomed regardless.....I hate to say that about a fighter.

Lets get one thing straight- Taylor doesn't remember **** about getting Knocked OUT! Jermain is what he is-Period! Manny said it best, when push comes to shove JT will revert to what he always does; Jab, let Pavlik set the pace and fall into the ropes. Someone on ESB said it very wisely-Kelly will faint and hook and put JT to sleep again in about 6. I just hope my plane takes off; I'm leaving @ noon tomorrow from Cleveland and a lot of snow and ice fell. See Ya @ MGM!!!!

Damn, sorry I didn't make plans to see this one out there. I've never been to Vegas & what better an excuse do you need than to go watch Kelly Pavlik KO another victim.

    HAVE A GREAT TIME...EVERYONE THATS GOING!!!:happy

Pavlik will win early....the reason Taylor crumpled so massively is because of Pavlik throwing straight punches...Pavlik is too intelligent and powerful for this to go the distance

I'm sorry but Pavlik boxed well and took Taylor out. Pavlik is the harder puncher, the bigger man, and has the better jab. Take that away? He has the better hook's and straights. Pavlik TOOK Taylor OUT.

    Pavlik will KO him again:good

I don't think there are that many JT haters, especially after the first fight with Pav. Most posters are just being honest about picking Pav. I have a lot of respect for JT, the way he fought Pav. and the fact his coming right back against him

I imagine Taylor looks fantastic in the gym. I bet he looked great training in the Mts. for fight #1. He probably kept the left high, threw perfect jabs, showed great lateral movement etc.... Unfortunately for JT, once he's under the pressure of a fighter like Pav., he does revert to his instincts. Most atheletes do. It's the ability to focus in the pressure of the moment that makes a great athelete an elite athelete.

After all that's transpired I just do not see JT changing what he does in the ring for most of this fight. If he does I will be surprised and very impressed.

Watch the first round, Jermaine Taylor's Jab was better faster and stronger than Pavliks. But when Jermaine Taylor slowed down and began to fight on instinct he stop throwing his jab.

Pavlik's jab and left hook/uppercut's are definitely underated. Sure he KO's everybody with that BIG ASS straight right, but as has been mentioned his left is actually his "most dominant" hand, and if you look at both Miranda and JT after their fights with Pav it's thier right side of their face that is most swollen or flat out swollen shut in Miranda's case. Pav's right obviously hits the left side of their faces.
