I think Pavlik's jab got stronger as the fight wore on...Paviks jab in the 7th was better and more effective than Taylor's jab was in the first.

I think for Taylor to win this he's got to knock Pavlik out early 1-2 rounds...... and I think that's his game plan to hurt Pavlik in close like he did last time and get him out possibly with an upper cut.

I wouldn't say Kelly sets up everything with the jab. He really jumped on Miranda and that jab wasn't that much of a factor. But you're right, Pavlik's jab is a good one but Taylor has to worry about the Pavlik right hand not the jab... if he'll focus too much on taking away Kelly's jab he'll loose. He has to focus on his own jab and defense and on setting the pace because with straight accurate punches and tight defense he can win...

But I don't see that for full 12 rounds... and as soon as Taylor tastes Pavlik's power he'll remember the brutal knocout and will lose control of the fight and has to go backwards... and that's when Kelly will shine...

Taylor claims he can't even stand to watch the replay, much less study it and learn. I don't think it bodes well for him at all. I think you are right on the money. One good hit and it will be flash back time. I still think the reason he took the fight is the judges score cards. In spite of what he says, look for him to keep his distance and pray for a decision.

    Taylor 115-113.

I would rather Pavlik win as we have seen what Taylor has to offer at the highest level already. Pavlik, well who knows how far he can go if he gets the chance? The man is capable of making some noise.

Some people say that the extra weight will help Pavlik more but i don't agree. Taylor is a big middleweight.

Taylor outboxes Pavlik to a narrow UD.
