mayweather clear and makes it look easy but fcourse shane will become shot , old and a blatant cherry picked opponent after the fight even though floyd got a shot tonne of abuse for taking time to work out a deal and read the conract he was ducking shane apparently
that is what i thought when the fight was announced but the more i really looked at it and broke it down the more i thought mosleys speed combined with good power gives floyd problems. and mosley tends to get better as fights go into later rounds he is not a guy who fades.
mosley can certainly fight 12 hard rounds unless he has faded quite a bit in the last couple years and pbf is not exaclty a spring chicken, not saying he is old but he is what 33 or so?
"last couple of years " how can you make that statement yet be so adament about your pick based on you vast knowledge or lack of it in my eyes
because since late 2008 he has had two fights mayorga went into the 12th and mosley got a ko in the 12th then 9th round i think it was for a tko of margarito. does this look like fading later in the fight? http://www.***********.com/forums/view.php?pg=compubox-antonio-margarito-shane-mosley
look up punch stats for his last fight and tell me how thats looks like fading. use your vast boxing knowledge:smoke
i will say this that shane's durability is going to be his biggest asset bc of floyd's fraglie hands and floyd needs to get shane's respect bc lets face it if mosley tries to outbox floyd he will lose badly but he will have a chance making a dog fight. Unlike cotto who hits enough and have big frame to keep shane at bay. floyd is a scrawny guy who relies on skills will shane will pose a bad style match up. I see floyd beat the **** out of cotto bc cotto's chin and stamina issues would not keep up with floyd but shane's style and physical gifts will pose floyd problems. but all in all i got with floyd ud.
The Cotto fight was a lot closer than you think. I had it as a draw if you simply count the rounds won/lost...
Trust me, conditioning won't be a problem... round by round execution of the game plan will be the key.:good
and i could give a **** less about how you view my boxing knowledge. you probably base it on when i joined a forum
and like you said unless hes faded in the last cule of years yet yo give exaples of his last two fights in the lat two years he has stamina issues due to his style his style dosent aford him any down time and dont use the mayorga fight as a basis for your argument shane was visibly tired in the later rounds but due to him being the superior fighter vs a guy of simalar age he came out on top
